Use it as a guide, not a rule — feel free to pace slower or faster depending on your schedule.

🔧 How to Use the Tracker:

  1. Follow the weekly plan below
  2. Check off lessons + quizzes as you go
  3. Track your quiz scores and progress
  4. Celebrate small wins weekly 🎉

💡 Pro Tip: Schedule your exam date at the start of Week 1 to lock in your motivation.

🧠 Bonus Tip:

Use the Pomodoro Method (25-minute sprints) while studying and aim for at least 5 hours/week of focused prep. Small consistent sessions > long cram sessions.

How to Study Smarter (Not Harder)

🔍 Why This Matters:

The CTP exam isn’t about memorizing definitions. It’s about:

  • Understanding how treasury works in real life
  • Applying concepts to scenarios
  • Managing time under pressure

Smart studying helps you prepare for all three.

✅ Study Smarter Strategies:

1. Focus on High-Yield Topics

Not all topics are equally tested. Focus more time on:

  • Cash & Liquidity Management
  • Risk Management
  • Working Capital
Use the CTP Topic Weighting Chart from the last lesson.

2. Use Active Recall

Don’t just re-read notes — test yourself constantly.

  • Use flashcards (digital or paper)
  • Cover your notes and try to explain out loud
  • Create your own questions before reviewing the answer

3. Spaced Repetition

Review material multiple times over several weeks:

  • Review today’s lesson again in 2 days
  • Then again in 1 week
  • Then again the week before the exam

Apps like Anki or tools like Notion + reminders can help.

4. Practice Like It’s Game Day

  • Do full-length practice tests under timed conditions
  • Use scratch paper and no resources, just like the real test
  • Train your brain to handle time pressure

5. Join Weekly Discussions

Use the Skool community to:

  • Ask clarifying questions
  • Learn how others remember complex concepts
  • Stay accountable by posting your study progress

🚫 Avoid These Common Mistakes:

  • Passive reading only — you’ll forget it fast
  • Ignoring formulas — you must understand and apply them
  • Cramming last minute — retention drops quickly
  • Skipping weak topics — they’ll show up on test day
